Data Sharing & Transparency
Our journal upholds the principle that transparency in research is fundamental to advancing scientific knowledge and maintaining trust in published findings. Data sharing plays a vital role in this commitment, as it allows others to examine the raw data, replicate analyses, and verify results. By providing access to underlying datasets, supplementary materials, and analytical procedures, authors contribute to the reproducibility and credibility of their work, while also fostering collaboration within the research community.
We encourage authors to deposit their data in recognized repositories, preferably those that ensure long-term accessibility and assign DOIs, or to make them available as supplementary files alongside their manuscripts. Clear documentation of methods, instruments, and coding practices further enhances the usability of shared data. While respecting ethical standards, privacy concerns, and confidentiality agreements, authors are expected to be as open as possible in making their data available. Such practices not only strengthen the integrity of individual studies but also create opportunities for new discoveries, meta-analyses, and cumulative knowledge building across disciplines.
By embedding transparency and openness into our editorial standards, MBR ensures that published work is not merely a static record, but an enduring resource that can be interrogated, extended, and meaningfully built upon by future researchers.
